Shenandoah Designs 3003 Dumb Waiter Tiered Server - Chippendale Collection
The tiered server, also known as a dumb waiter (because it serves food without speaking) is as at home in the parlor or drawing room as it is in the dining room.

The Chippendale Collection consists of the finest miniature furniture kits available. All parts are precut and some are even pre-carved to enable you to construct 1" to 1' scale versions of some of the best examples of antique furniture in the Chippendale style.
Kits designed by : John R. Adams
Originally in Brookfield, Connecticut, Shenandoah Designs, Inc. A few were clearly similar to The House of Miniatures designs, but several of their 16 or so kits were more "country" furnishings than Colonial period designs. Shenandoah, like The House of Miniatures before them, eventually sold out to Houseworks Ltd. Because they did not add copyright dates to their materials, I've been unable to pinpoint the dates of the designs, but the company operated from May 1983 through 1993 out of Brookfield Office Park. Houseworks Ltd took it over at the end of 1995. A few of the kits can still be found in the Houseworks catalog.
